The Phillies have three hitters that got off to good starts.  Jimmy Rollins has been incredible leading off for the Phils as he’s hitting .304 with 6 runs scored, 3 homers and 6 RBIs.  Pat Burrell (.381) and catcher Carlos Ruiz (.333) are both off to good starts also.

Cole Hamels really had an excellent first start of the season as he pitched 7 innings and whiffed 8 batters while not allowing and earned run.  But, he didn’t win the game.  4 relievers didn’t give up an earned run last week and they were:  Clay Condrey (3 IP, 5 K’s),  Geoff Geary (2.2 IP), Joseph Bisenius (2 IP) and Matt Smith (1.2 IP).
