Chase Utley is catching fire with the bat for the Philadelphia Phillies
With Ryan Howard on the disabled list, the Phillies needed someone to step up and Utley has been that guy. In his last 6 games, Utley is 8 for 22 (.364 avg, 1.189 OPS) with 8 runs, 2 homers and 7 RBIs. Many thought that Utley put up the big numbers that he did last season because he was batting in front of Ryan Howard and got to see a lot of fastballs. But, Utley is proving everyone wrong so far this season as no one is scared to pitch to whoever is batting behind Utley in the lineup.
