The Phillies have outrighted 28-year old righty swinging outfielder T.J. Bohn to AAA making him a free agent. Bohn played in 14 games for the Phillies last season and he was 2 for 5 (.400 avg, 1.000 OPS) with 1 run scored and 3 RBIs. Bohn finished his career with the Phillies having played in 32 games in which he was 4 for 19 (.211 avg, .697 OPS) with 3 runs scored, 1 homer and 5 RBIs. Bohn also has struck out 9 times in his career which is way too many for a hitter like him. Bohn will likely get a spring invite from some team over the winter.

The Phillies won the World Series after punking the Dodgers 4 games to 1 in the N.L.C.S. The Phillies just had too much firepower for the Rays to deal with. Plus, they played smarter as the Rays took way too many chances on the basepaths. This was the first championship in a long time for the hungry fans of Philadelphia and the Phillies are set up for a nice long run with a young nucleus to the roster.
