The Philadelphia Phillies release Pablo Ozuna
The Phillies have released veteran utility man Pablo Ozuna. Ozuna was playing in AAA ball when he was suspended for 50 games for using performance enhancing drugs. Ozuna played in 91 games in AAA-ball this season and he was 55 for 187 (.294 avg, .738 OPS) with 25 runs scored, 15 RBIs and 8 stolen bases. Ozuna screwed himself by using those drugs as the Phillies were likely to call him up in September.
