The Philadelphia Phillies need Juan Castro to hold down the fort at SS until Jimmy Rollins in ready to return
Ancient Juan Castro will be called upon to replace Jimmy Rollins as the starting shortstop until he is ready to return to action. Castro has played in 2 games for the Phillies so far this season and he is 1 for 8 (.125 avg, .472 OPS) with 2 runs scored and 1 RBI. Castro has never been much of a hitter in the majors but the Phillies don’t need him to be….they just need him to play good D as they have more than enough firepower on the roster already.
