The Phillies made quick work of the Reds last night finishing out a sweep.  Cole Hamels was dominating last night for the Phillies.  He threw a complete game shutout allowing only 5 hits, not walking any batters and whiffing 9.  He dominated by pounding the strike zone with his outstanding stuff as 82 of his 119 pitches went for strikes.  Carlos Ruiz (2 for 4 with a double) and Ryan Howard (2 for 4) both had solid games for the Phillies last night.  Chase Utley was 1 for 4 with a solo homer off of Johnny Cueto in the fifth inning which was all the runs the Phillies really needed last night.  The Phillies sweep the Reds in dominating fashion as they shut them out twice including no-hitting them once.
