Cole Hamels was solid working the first six innings yesterday allowing 5 hits and 3 earned runs while walking 1 batter and whiffing 8. He was the losing pitcher. Jose Contreras did a good job of keeping the game close as he worked 2 shutout innings to close the game for the Phillies. The Phillies are down 2-1 in this series with Game #4 tonight.
