The Phillies have re-signed 32-year old lefty swinging infielder Pete Orr to a minor league deal. Orr pitched in 46 games for the Phillies last year and he was 21 for 96 (.219 avg, .529 OPS) with 7 runs scored, 0 homers, 4 RBIs and 3 stolen bases. He has now played in 393 games in his first six years in the minors and he is 156 for 615 (.254 avg, .608 OPS) with 87 runs scored, 3 homers, 39 RBIs and 16 stolen bases. This was a nice move for the Phillies as Orr gives them solid versatility off the bench.
