The Philadelphia Phillies sign Pat Misch
The Phillies have signed 30-year old lefty reliever/starter Pat Misch to a minor league deal. Misch pitched in only 6 games (0 starts) for the Mets last year and he was 1-0 with a 10.29 ERA and a 2.14 WHIP. He has now pitched in 78 games (24 starts) in his first six years in the majors and he is 4-15 with a 4.80 ERA and a 1.42 WHIP. Misch will get a chance to win a job in the Phillies’ bullpen next spring.
