The Philadelphia Phillies lose Roy Halladay for the next 6-8 weeks
The Phillies have placed 35-year old righty starting pitcher Roy Halladay on the 15-day disabled list due to a strained lat muscle, but he’s going to miss the next 6-8 weeks. Halladay has pitched in 11 games (all starts) for the Phillies so far this year and he is 4-5 with a 3.98 ERA and a 1.15 WHIP. He has now pitched in 76 games (all starts) in his first three years with the Phillies and he is 44-21 with a 2.60 ERA and a 1.05 WHIP. This is a huge blow to the Phillies as Halladay is going to be impossible to replace.
