The Phillies have re-signed 33-year old lefty swinging infielder Pete Orr to a minor league deal. Orr played in 35 games for the Phillies last year and he was 17 of 54 (.315 avg, .772 OPS) with 6 runs scored, 0 homers, 7 RBIs and 3 stolen bases. He has now played in 81 games in his first two years with the Phillies and he is 38 for 150 (.253 avg, .616 OPS) with 13 runs scored, 0 homers, 11 RBIs and 6 stolen bases. Orr will have a good shot to win a bench job for the Phillies next spring.
