The Phillies have signed 24-year old lefty swinging 1B Austin Gallagher to a minor league deal.  Gallagher will serve a 50-game suspension to open up the 2013 as he tested positive for a banned substance last month.  He played in 105 games in A-ball for the Dodgers last year and he was 106 of 374 (.283 avg, .864 OPS) with 58 runs scored, 15 homers, 74 RBIs and 2 stolen bases.  He has now played in 520 games in his first six years in the minors and he is 547 of 1,916 (.285 avg, .790 OPS) with 270 runs scored, 46 homers, 302 RBIs and 5 stolen bases.  Gallagher will likely start his 2013 season in AA-ball for the Phillies.
